Dr. Eden MacGregor is the owner of Alpine Chiropractic and she has been practicing in the Elk Valley since 2001.
Dr. MacGregor graduated from the University of Lethbridge with a BSc in Biology and then went on to study at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. She graduated in 2001 with her Doctor of Chiropractic and moved immediately back to the mountains!
Upon moving to the Elk Valley, Eden set up a small home-based business in Fernie and purchased Sparwood Chiropractic. After juggling both businesses for several years and then (as the kids came along) juggling kids and work, she decided in 2014 to sell Sparwood Chiropractic. In 2015 Eden began working exclusively in Fernie and hasn’t looked back!
At a visit with Dr. MacGregor, a patient can expect a thorough history and chiropractic exam. If she feels she can help, a treatment plan will be discussed and agreed upon, and all forms of treatment explained.
Dr. Eden performs manual adjustments and mobilizations as well as using trigger point therapy and active release techniques to address any myofascial issues. She also uses some low-force techniques that are sometimes preferred by some patients. Dr. MacGregor is also certified in advanced foot biomechanics and orthotic therapy.
Dr. MacGregor enjoys treating everyone from infants to seniors and is constantly upgrading her skill set and knowledge through continuing education.
When she’s not working at the clinic, Dr. MacGregor tries to spend as much time as possible outside – mountain biking in the summer and skiing in the winter. She has three wonderful children with her husband, Jonathan.
